This is the online service of the Ottawa Public Education Retirees' Association (OPERA) where you can find out more about our organization, open an account with us or, if you're already a member, login to your account on our e-mail service, called OPERA Online. What exactly is OPERA anyway?

OPERA is a voluntary, self-regulating, not-for-profit association of retired employees of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and its predecessor boards. The Retirees’ Association exists to provide camaraderie for its members through social, recreational and educational activities, to promote its members' life-long learning, and to maintain contact with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.

OPERA has an executive elected by its members each year, a clubroom located in the former Confederation High School, courtesy of the OCDSB, and a history of providing a variety of activities to which its members return year after year.

OPERA offers a fully operational email system where members enjoy immediate use of a mature, stable, varied and interesting online community at a very attractive price.

For only $26 a year, you get a full one year membership in the Association along with an account on OPERA Online, our electronic service which is accessible from anywhere in the world, all year 'round.
